Realization of the goals about the European Project “Rural Needs & Mobile Learning”

Realization of the goals about the European Project “Rural Needs & Mobile Learning”

The international consortium made up of the four Countries (Austria, Spain, Italy, Portugal) is proceeding to the realization of the goals for the development of the e-learning platform to support caregivers and family assistants. We are working on the conclusion of the Guide developed, also in an e-book format, for the training of the trainers of the project.

In addition, also the e-learning platform is been created, in which the contents and the training course will be uploaded and made accessible.

This figure permits to visualize a preview of the e-learning platform under development, and the guide loaded internally.

The project information is available on the project website (www.ruralneeds.eu), already introduced previously.

The results developed so far have been realized after several months of working and through transnational meetings, which despite the situation generated by COVID19, have allowed the various partners to successfully complete the first part of the project and continue to develop the goals initially set. The development of the e-learning training material accessible to all, even remotely, is acquiring greater importance considering the situation we are experiencing. The aim of preparing and processing useful information for family assistants and caregivers for taking care of the elderly and non-sufficient people, becomes even more relevant and necessary.

The next steps set out in the project concern the conclusion of the Guide through the evaluation of the latter by professionals in the social and health sector, and the conclusion of the Manual, which is currently being developed. The Manual is designed for people who provide social and health services to the elderly in rural contexts, and who have no professional qualifications in this area. The people who have been identified as targets are: the immigrant population living in European rural areas, women without professional qualifications, family assistants and young entrepreneurs of local services.

As previously introduced, this project is promoted by the San Valero group and financed by the European Union within the ERASMUS PLUS Program, in its innovation action, it is coordinated by one of its entities, SEAS ESTUDIOS ABIERTOS, in the role of partner technological. Cooperativa Margherita, as operational partner of the project, actively contributes to the development of these goals and it is glad to disseminate the results obtained so far together with the project’s partners.
