XVIII Margherita in Festa: Generation Other
Generation Other is a vision, not an age: a community that values diversity as a resource to create new possibilities. It embraces fragility—personal, social, environmental—as part of its strength, promoting gender equality, inclusion, and interdependence. It is the generation of those who freely choose who to be, reject imposed roles, and become agents of change, bringing together young people, adults, and the elderly in active and vibrant aging. Creativity becomes a collective gesture, linked to nature and responsibility towards the planet. An open view of Europe, as a common home to grow together.

Born in 2007 to celebrate 20 years of Cooperativa Margherita’s activities and to bring social issues closer to the community, Margherita in Festa has become over time a socio-cultural event lasting three months.
Awareness events, celebrations with citizens, theater performances, meetings with speakers, musical concerts… Each new edition is conceived and designed with the entire community during a meeting where the theme is discussed, proposals, concerns, and criticisms are shared.
Its main features, in addition to co-design and cultural awareness, are collaborations within the community, with 24 municipal administrations in the province of Vicenza granting sponsorship and the participation of various associations, the business world, and private citizens. Over time, various themes have been addressed: from women to the crisis, from beauty to active citizenship, from migrations to the land.
