The goal of an ISO 9001 quality system is to ensure that the product provided by the company meets the specified requirements. The specified requirements are defined by the standard as the explicit and implicit expectations of the Customer.

Who certifies?

The certification is issued by a third-party organization (Certification Body) properly accredited at the national and/or international level.
An accredited certification body can issue a certification recognized internationally by all entities adhering to EA – European Cooperation for Accreditation.
The added value provided by accredited certification is the assurance, offered by a third-party organization, that the certification body pursues the fundamental objectives and responsibilities for quality, thoroughly analyzing business activities, and the expressed and implicit needs of customers and other interested parties.
